Join us for a day of Gregorian Chant at St Dominic’s Priory. Open to singers of all levels, the day offers an opportunity to learn, sing and pray within the rich musical and liturgical tradition of the Dominican Order.
​
The chant sessions will be led by Fr Matthew Jarvis OP and Dominic Bevan, with a particular focus on Dominican chant. The day will include a Dominican Rite Mass of Ember Saturday and Vespers.
​
Music for the liturgy will be provided by the Southwell Consort, directed by Jeremy Summerly.

The Southwell Consort, under the direction of Simon Over of Southbank Smith Square, will be joined again by the Guerrero Baroque Collective to present a concert of Purcell funeral music, as well as a newly transcribed edition of Christopher Gibbons' Oxford Act, performed for the first time in over 360 years.
